Bhubaneswar/09.06.2017:Department of Personnel and Training(DoPT) has organized RTI training on 07.06.2017 to 07.06.2017.with the greater leadership of Sujatapati Pati, Course Director, Madhusudan Academy.This programme has been conducted for nominated Public Information Officers (PIOs), Assistant Public Information Officers (APIOs) & First Appellate Authorities (FAAs). In the Training programme there were 72 participants. In the beginning of the training programme Smt. Sujata, Madhusudan Academy, Bhubaneswar briefed regrinding the usability of RTI and intervention of IT Mechanism .

Prof. D.C. Mohapatra former Professor Department of Law Utkal University, Bhubaneswar cited regarding Role of Nodal officers/FAA / PIO/APIO and other subordinate staffs/Citizens Right to access information, explained on Important provisions of RTI Act and Rules. Roles & Responsibilities of Public Authorities, PIOs, APIOs and FAAs under RTI Act. He explained transparency and accountability of Public Authority. He stressed on dissemination of information. Prof. Mohapatra said The “first RTI application was lodged to Pune police station and created a sensitive ideology”.

In the third day of the training programme CSP to state RTI portal Smt. Jayashree Mohanty, President, Luminous Infoways, Bhubaneswar facilitated on evolution and Implementation of RTI CMM. She has also demonstrated practical implementation of Right to Information Central Monitoring Mechanism (RTI CMM) with focusing disposal of online RTI application, e-Filing and updation of proactive disclosure. She has also said “RTI CMM is a unique mechanism throughout South Asia which auto generate important RTI registers and help a lots to PIO. Among others PIOs, APIOs and FAAs were present.
