Jajpur/16.02.2018:District Information and Public Relation Officer, Jajpur Sri Santosh Kumar Sethy has conducted District level RTI workshop with the approval of district administration on date. 16.02.2018 at conference hall of DRDA, Jajpur. There were 69 participant over the workshop

District Collector, Jajpur Shri Ranjan Kumar Das, IAS, inaugurated the programme officially. Among others, Shri Brajabandhu Bhol, A.D.M., Jajpur, Sri Narayan Chandra Dhal, Sub-Collector, Jajpur, Sri Laxmi Kant Mishra, Tahasildar, Jajpur, RTI resource person Sri Horsha Parichha, Domain Expert, Luminous Infoways, Bhubaneswar, Sri Chitta Ranjan Behera, Advocate Higjh Court, Cuttack, were present in the occasion. Before commencement of the Programme, DIPRO, Jajpur briefed the workshop objectives then dignitaries spoke about the importance and relevance of RTI Act for the public as well as the Public Authorities. District Collector, Shri Das, said “RTI has made for people’s Right in order to build faith, transparency and accountability among the Govt”.

From CSP to state RTI portal Sri Horsha Parichha made a power point presentation on RTI Act and Rules. He also facilitated regarding implementation of RTI CMM. In this system all the Departments of the Government and line Offices are given with User-Id and Password to manage their pro-active disclosures under Section-4(1)b of the Act. After that he has presented the practical implementation of RTI CMM very clearly.

Thereafter Sri Chitta Ranjan Behera, Advocate Higjh Court, Cuttack imparted training to the PIOs, and FAAs regarding some important Act and rules and also he emphasized on mentainance of RTI registers. At last DI&PRO, Jajpur concluded the programme with vote of thanks.
