Bhubaneswar/24.08.2017: Department of Personnel and Training(DoPT) has organized RTI training at the conference hall of Madhusudan Das Regional Academy of Financial Management, Bhubaneswar on date 22.08.2017 to 24.08.2017. In the workshop 21 participants from different Department were present over the training. In the training programme Smt. Ranjita Tripathy Course Director MDRF, Bhubaneswar welcomed to all participants and cited on course objectives.
Prof. D.C. Mohapatra Former Professor Department of Law Utkal University, Bhubaneswar explained regarding Role of Nodal officers/PIO / APIO/FAA and other subordinate staffs on Right to access information, explained on important provisions of RTI Act and Rules.
Smt. Jayashree Mohanty, co-founder and Director Luminous Infoways, Bhubaneswar as a content Service provider (CSP) to state RTI portal through Power point presentation cited regarding Dissemination of proactive disclosure under Section-4(I)(b) and Online filing of RTI Application with the facility for online payment of RTI Fees and comply of citizen request. She Said “in a short period of time Office automation will prevail in every sector in order to Categories of Documents under Control of information under section 4(1)(a)”. Thereafter first hand practice also conducted for the participant and concluded the session.
