Bhubaneswar/16.09.2022: A District level virtual training programme was conducted on Right to Information Act and RTI Central Monitoring Mechanism(www.rtiodisha.gov.in) for Public Information Officers Assistant Public Information officers, Referred PIOs and First appellate Authorities of Home department for Cuttack, Ganjam, Gajapati, Dhenkanal and Deogarh districts.
The virtual training programme was conducted from 11.00 Am to 1.00 PM on 16.09.2022. The main objectives of training programme was compliance of mandatory provision and online application of RTI applications and appeals keeping with the objectives of auto generation of RTI registers, annual report etc. Horsha Parichha, Domain Expert, RTI PMU Cell, Information & Public Relation Department, Govt. of Odisha Bhubaneswar imparted the said training programme.
He imparted technical presentation on how to comply the request of the citizen and disposed off online appeal. There after Q&A session was conducted where some participants raised questions regarding procedure of online platform for supply of information, rejection of application and transferring of application. All the queries were clarified through practical demo on RTI portal.
